I am an Associate Professor of English at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where I teach composition and rhetoric. My classes address themes such as literacy and human rights, and many of my classes involve a service commitment to the Nashville community. My research interests include writing, literacy, new media, service-learning, and higher-education pedagogy. I have published work on writing centers, service-learning narratives, literacy histories, and online media including digital stories, video games, and discussion boards.
